Should the wrongful death suit be filed against the drunk driver’s estate or his insurance company or my father’s insurance company?

Also, is there any tips that you know of that will help me get maximum payout from the insurance company. I don’t want to be cheated by them.

We haven’t received them yet and I was hoping someone could give me an answer on what we can do. My mother in law left the house, verbally, to my husband. No one else in the family wants it and isn’t going to fight for it. She did not leave a will. She had the papers but unfortunately did get to finish them. Any ideas or any referrals to a good lawyer to ask?

Personaly I think the death penalty and abortion are both barbaric acts the death penalty means that the people who carry it out are no better (moraly) than the person being executed and as with abortion it is not the mothers choice to kill.
How is the person who kills that criminal any different to the person that they execute how is the court that determined that this would be the mans fate innocent anyone who decides to take someones life is to all intent and purpose a murderer just like the one the courts have killed.

In this case, there is no doubt about the murderers because they confessed. However, soon after they were charged the US Supreme Court ruled against juveniles getting the death penalty. I am curious what the general public feels/thinks. One of my very close family members was ruthlessly murdered by 2 teenage boys. This was after the same boys beat an elderly man to death in a neighboring county. Thanks for any input!

I do not think abortion should be illegal when it is necessary to save the mothers life, but even that is usually a question of self service or self sacrifice.

This is both a moral (on the part of the mother) and ethical (on the part of medical proffessionals) issue.

Biology identifies species based upon their genetic make up. Genetically we are complete human beings from the moment of conception.

The brain at the early stages is undeveloped rather than non-existant. By the same token we could say that an elderly person who has lost most of their capacity to think no longer has a fully developed brain and is therefore expendable.

Your frind could have given the child up for adoption. There are plenty of couples waiting. She could even have had the baby and just left it with hospital perrsonel.

I have a friend who was adopted, and abused by her adoptive parents. She ran away at fourteen, married into a psychologically abusive relationship and had four kids and divorced before age 21. Her ex managed to convince the court that she was an unfit mother and her kids got put in foster homes. She then fell into a sexually and physically abusive relationship which lasted 10 years. While in that relationship she raised three runaways. Because of things that were done to her in this second relationship she now has major nuerological problems. if anyone should be pro-choice it would be her, but she sees no justification for abortion, and belives unwanted children should be given up for adoption.

No I am not talking about me. I had a happy childhood and no abusive relationships.

We still can have a great human rights record like the usa and still impose the death penalty in serious crimes commited.

The european parliament should reconsider their issue on the death penalty and should pass a law having capital punishment
as a legal form of punishment.
