I read about them doing tests of ejection seats at sea level at almost Mach 1, and the pilot was not injured (or not injured much)

How much faster could you go without dying?

And what would happen to you? Would you get hot? Abrasive injuries? Bruising?

How and who informs someone of someone dying in a plane crash? Do you place somekind of contact information with the purchase of the ticket and they call that person and who calls them, local police, the feds, some crash investigator, a spokesman for the airline, who?
